more picks than kicks

The first band I ever saw live was Tesla in 1987, supporting Def Leppard. The bass player and guitarist threw down some plecs at the end of the gig and I caught them. It was so exciting to get the picks they used! I’ve been collecting ever since, I go to a lot of gigs – and I’m always up the front! All images are copyrighted and cannot be used without permission.

    • I do indeed. I’ll be putting it up soon, as well as a wishlist….just in case David Gilmour, Jimmy Page, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Slash or Robbie Robertson stumble across this page and want to make me happy 🙂

  2. AMAZING!!!!
We’re you in the crowd most of times or do you work on backstage (or something like that)?

I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and also have a small 27 collection. #CrowdStyle

    • Thank you Vagner! Glad you like the site. I’ve never worked backstage, just always in the front row of gigs and I’ve been lucky in meeting a few of my heroes. Would love to see your collection! Cheers, Ger

  3. Just found this by accident searching for a certain pick which I thought I’d never find but guess what you have it!! I”m up in Belfast and lost a pick I got at the same gig. Not sure if you’d part hopefully it doesn’t mean as much to you as it will me!! Is there a best way to contact you or give you my email? Hope you’re still here and active ; )
